5-Minute Game Changer Cheese Sauce

A few years back, this cheese sauce went viral with all the whole food plant-based influencers. I admit, I was a little skeptical. But then I remembered how gooey my oats got when I blended them in my Nutribullet trying to make an oat creamer. Perfect for cheese!
You need a high speed blender and when you blend it for the full five minutes it actually gets warm!
This is a great recipe for someone with nut and seed allergies.

5-Minute Game Changer Cheese Sauce

Ingredients
2 cups rolled oats
1/4 cup corn starch
1/2 cup nutritionnal yeast
2 tsp onion powder (or granules)
2 tsp sea salt
1 jar roasted red pepper in water (12 oz.) – DO NOT DRAIN! You will use the entire jar.
1 T lemon juice
1/4 tsp liquid smoke
4 cups water
Instructions
Blend in Vitamix (or other high speed blender) on high for 5 minutes.
It’s great as a game-day dip, on nachos, tacos, in enchiladas and burritos. You can even use it for Mac ‘n cheese!
*DO NOT omit the pepper
